Day 01:  MUSCAT CITY TOUR

​

Start your Half-Day Muscat City Tour from the Sultan Qaboos Mosque-Grand Mosque, the 5th biggest Mosque in the world (please consider the dress code). The Mosque is open from 0800 HRS till 1100 HRS (except Friday).Pass the embassy quarter and enjoy a guided tour through the beautiful Royal Opera House (tour services are just available if there is no rehearsal on stage). After this you drive to Muttrah Souk, the oldest souk in Oman. Then you drive to Visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum. Continue to Al Alam Palace (photo stop), which is flanked by two Portuguese Forts, called Al Mirani and Al Jalali.

Day 02: Nakhal/Wadi Bani Awf/Bilad Sayt/Jabal Shams

 

Start your trip to Nakhl which has an impressive fort, built on a 60m high mountain.

 

Then continue to Wadi Bani Awf and reach Bilad Sayt. Arrive at Bilad Sayt, the most idyllic village with a wealth of verdant terraces. The graded track through the mountains is stunning. It is one of the most interesting off road drive in Oman and most of the time.

 

Stop at local restaurant for lunch.

 

Your journey will lead you to the Jabal Shams where you will make your ckeck in- have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Al Hamra/Nizwa/AL Jabal AL Akdhar

 

Check out from the Hotel and visit the abandoned village of AL Hamra.

In the middle of the old village there is a beautiful renovated museum, which gives a glimpse of how Omanis used to live and some of them even live until today.

Then proceed to Nizwa.

Reach the OASIS CITY OF NIZWA, which was once the capital of “JULANDA DYNASTY” in the 6th & 7th Century AD. Today it remains as the most popular tourist attractions with its historical buildings & imposing fort.

Stop at local restaurant for lunch.

 Continue your drive to the Jabal Akhdar.

Day 04:  Barkat AL Moze/ Al Mudhayrib/Wadi Bani Khalid

/ Wahiba Sands

                   

In the morning we will drive to Bairkat AL Mouz which is one of the most famous villages in ruins in the Sultanate. With the two sets of ruins, a large banana plantation and the scenic surroundings, the site is also home to the old Falaj irrigation system listed as Unesco World heritage.

Stop at local restaurant for lunch.

 Then visit the abandoned village of AL Mudhairib, a typical Omani village which worth seeing.

Drive to Wadi Bani Khalid a beautiful Wadi in Oman The view of Wadi Bani Khalid is truly overwhelming. The clear and clean water of the Wadi entices you to take a dip or swim around the palm trees.

 

- Overnight in Wahiba Sands.

Day 05: Sur / Wadi Shab / Sinkhole

 

First in Wahiba Sand , we go for looking fun & enjoy an exciting dune bashing then we visit the traditional home of the Bedouins There will be the chance for you to ride a camel.

Then drive on Sur – Sur is known to be the home of Sinbad the legendary mariner   of the Arabian Nights. Proceed on the Dhow building yard, Dhows are traditional Omani wooden fisher boats that are even today, built by hand. 

Stop at local restaurant for lunch.

We will continue travelling to Wadi Shab, Here you can relax take a nature walk along banana plantations, date palms and up narrow rocky paths.

Continue to the last point, Sinkhole a spectacular limestone crater that had been created many years ago by collapsing mountain and is filled with seawater.
